Antimony — grades, benchmarks and payable terms

Antimony is a critical mineral with tight western supply, and KWE Metals holds stibnite-bearing ground in Honduras. Our antimony material runs as coarse stibnite fragments and as antimony–gold ore where stibnite sits in iron-stained quartz with precious-metal credits.

Live benchmark

Antimony has no free real-time exchange feed. Lots are priced against SMM China antimony ingot and Rotterdam spot assessments on the day of delivery, adjusted for contained antimony and gold credits.

Why antimony matters now

Antimony is used in flame retardants, lead–acid batteries, ammunition primers and photovoltaic glass, and it sits on western critical-minerals lists because supply is concentrated in a handful of jurisdictions. Central American stibnite is a route to non-concentrated supply.

Antimony–gold material

Some of our best stibnite carries gold in the same iron-stained quartz matrix. Those parcels are assayed for both metals and priced on the combined payable value rather than the antimony line alone.

Sampling and verification

Because there is no continuous exchange quote, verification matters more. Every antimony parcel is split, XRF-read on site and confirmed by independent laboratory assay before terms are agreed.

Antimony questions we are asked

Why is there no live antimony price on this page?
Antimony is not exchange-traded with a free public feed. It settles against SMM China and Rotterdam spot assessments, which are subscription-published — we quote from those on the day of delivery.
Do you sell antimony specimens as well as lots?
Yes — hand-sorted stibnite specimens are available through our store, alongside commercial parcels.
How do I request an antimony assay?
Lot enquiries, assays and offtake terms: +1-844-593-4766, Monday to Friday 9am–5pm EST, or the enquiry form on our homepage.
